Almost Missed It........
Well another one from above my house, and if I wasn't outside bringing in the rubbish bin I would have missed it for sure. Pretty rare to see a QF A380 overhead AKL in the cruise.

Falcon 7X - B-8205
Well I must say that this Falcon 7X, B-8205 has a very smart paint job and is one of the best painted Business Jets I've seen in a long time.
It's also great to see and increase in Corporate Visitors over the last few weeks, may it long continue.
In these shots the Falcon is being towed to a different parking spot to make room for another Corporate arrival, which I will show in another post at a later date.

Air Tahiti Nui A340-300
Air Tahiti Nui Flight TN102 heading back to Papeete from Auckland.
Air Tahiti Nui have a total of 5 A340-300's in their fleet and each is named after an island in French Polynesia. F-OJTN seen here is named Bora Bora.

Scoot 9V-OTA
My first photo of a Scoot Aircraft 9V-OTA a B777-200ER seen here in Sydney.
Scoot is a low cost Airline offering choices in airfares for the type of service you would like. You can just book just a seat or select a seat & a bag, seat & meal....etc etc. Very Similar to Air New Zealand on the Tasman.
Actually quite like their livery.

Hard Photos To Take.......
Well I would firstly like to say that these photos are defiantly not that good in quality.
These photos were all taken from my house in the late afternoon / early evening last weekend with cloudless sky's over Auckland.
It is one of my goals this year to get much much...much better at getting shots of the jets overhead my place.
I live pretty much on the arrival / departure corridor in Auckland (NZAA) for the following.
1. Downwind leg Runway 23L for arrivals from the West.
2. Northbound (USA, Rarotonga, Honolulu etc..) departures off Runway 23L with a right hand turn after takeoff.
3. Downwind leg from the north (USA, Honolulu, Rarotonga etc..) for Runway 05R
4. Westbound (Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore) departures from 05R with a left and turn after takeoff.
So here is my first attempt for 2014.

Etihad Airways A340-600
Some more photos from a recent trip to Sydney, and this time my first shots ever of an Etihad Airways
A340-600 and A6-EHL
Prior to been towed to the terminal, it was parked over on the far eastern side of the airport for its day layover in SYD and in the first photo its been towed to the gate in preparation for the long flight back to
Abu Dhabi.
Etihad Airways commenced operations in November 2003 and now has a fleet of 88 aircraft.
