Spitfire's And A DC-3

Its always good to see two Spitfires in action together, and as I have mentioned before the weather was perfect for some nice photos at the Wings Over Wairarapa Air Show.

Here is Spitfire Mk IV MH367 (ZK-WDQ) & PV270 (ZK-SPI) taxing out in preparation for take-off. Air Chathams DC-3, ZK-AWP had perfect timing for landing after doing a display to get the last shot.

Aero L39 - ZK-WLM

At last, I managed to get some decent photos of this Aero L39, ZK-WLM.
On display at the Wings Over Wairarapa Air Show back in January this year.

The sun was just in the right spot for each of these pics, I like the last photo the best.

Roaring Forties - Harvards

Some more photos from the Wing's Over Wairarapa Air Show, and the Roaring Forties Harvard Display Team Taxing out in preparation for their take off and display.

For some reason up until now, I haven't been able to get any decent shots of the Harvard's before, so I was very pleased to get these one's in great sunny, and close up conditions.

Titan T-51 Midget Mustang ZK-WWM

I thought it would be good to carry on from my last post of the P 51 Mustang with these photos of a
Titan T-51 Midget Mustang MJ-77,  ZK-WWM

Sure is a clean aircraft and I was surprised at how short and small the propeller blades actually were.

Air Chatham's DC-3, ZK-AWP

It was pretty much perfect conditions for these series of photos of Air Chatham's Douglas DC-3
ZK-AWP, with blue skies and the sun just in the right place for each photo, well almost anyway.

It was good to finally get some good photos, hope you like these ones.

Grumman Avenger NZ2518

Some more from the Air Show, and this time it was nice to get this Grumman Avenger TBF-1C NZ2518 in some good light. All other photos I have of this old classic aren't that good, so I was pleased with these photos.
