For some reason up until now, I haven't been able to get any decent shots of the Harvard's before, so I was very pleased to get these one's in great sunny, and close up conditions.

The Mighty Mustang

As usual the P 51D Mustang is always a crowd pleas er at airshows and ZK-TAF, (NZ2415) from the New Zealand Warbird's put on an impressive performance.

You have just gotta love the sound of that engine....

P51 Mustang vs Spitfire

A couple of weekend's ago, I managed to attend the Warbirds Open Day at Ardmore Airport, and the weather turned out great. I will do several posts with the photos that I got on the day.

I didn't manage to hang around to see these fly on the day, but thought I'd share these photos of the propellers of the P51 Mustang and the Spitfire as a comparison.
