Virgin Australia B777-300ER, VH-VOZ

Virgin Australia from time to time send their B777-300ER's over to Auckland for some maintenance done by Air New Zealand at their Auckland Engineering base.

This time Virgin sent over VH-VOZ, and from what I could see, the number 1 Engine was removed and either replaced or refitted before being towed down for some engine runs yesterday.

These photos are of the tow back to the base after spending about 2 hours down at the far western end of the airport and 05L doing engine runs.

VH-YIT takes off from 05R.

VH-YIT rolled off the production line in Seattle in September 2012 and was delivered to Virgin Australia in October.
