I think this Tecnam P2002, Sierra RG, ZK-ZZT actually looks quite good and it's hard to believe it comes under the Microlight Glass 2 category. I looks very wide in the cockpit with plenty of room.

And yet again stunning conditions for these photos of this Cub, ZK-CSS, and also wearing a very smart colour scheme. This is a well looked after aircraft and sure looked great on the ground,

Love the paint work on this Van RV-7A, ZK-ECE that was on display at Raglan back in 2015. The light and blue sky was just perfect for these two photos, Hope to get a photo one day of it in the air against a blue sky background also.

Black Sands 2015, Gyro Planes

Well first time photos on my blog of Gyro Planes, When you look at these flying machines, you would think that the rotors would provide the lift. However the rotors are wind driven only and provides lift when wind passes over them like on a fixed winged aircraft. There is no down draft on from the rotors of a Gyro Plane. The engine provides forward power only.

A few photos of this Jodel D.11 coming into land at Raglan. This is ZK-DYB looking good with a white paint scheme against a clear blue sky.

This smart looking Vans RV-8, ZK-WLK is well suited to its colourful paint scheme, and sure is a pretty quick aircraft for its size, and one of the fastest aircraft over the fence at Raglan when landing on the grass strip.

Black Sands 2015, ZK-JSF

This Cessna 172, ZK-JSF called into Raglan and was doing Touch and Go Circuits for a little while at the Black Sands Fly in last year. These photos are of ZK-JSF performing a go around, due to being to high on the approach and decide to perform the go around as is crossed the fence at the end of the strip. Great chance to get some blue sky in the background though as a result.

Black Sands 2015 - ZK-RTT

I really like the blue sky in these pics and the red and yellow stripped paint scheme looks great also on this Aeroandina, ZK-RTT. Was lucky enough also to get both sides of it when airborne also.
