Air Asia X Special Livery, 9M-XXD

Well the Aircraft Painting Department at Air Asia X have been busy, and again produced a stunning new special livery on their A330-300, 9M-XXD.

This time promoting UFC Boxing. Was lucky with the nice light also for these shots with dark clouds looming to the south.

Air Asia X A330-300, 9M-XXF

The colouring in department at Air Asia X is a very busy department.

Yet again their A330-300, 9M-XXF has been given a new colourful livery, this time in celebration of 10 years in service by the airline. They sure do a good job of making these special liveries colourful.

It would have been nice to have a sunny day with blue sky for these shots, but maybe next time.

Air Asia X, 9M-XXY and 9M-XBC

Air Asia X scheduled arrival time is in the late afternoon, and they seem to arrive pretty much
on-time each day from the Gold Coast.

Their livery is one of the more colourful ones at Auckland, and they do have a number of special livery A330's also that do frequently visit us.

This first set of photos' are of 9M-XBC, and my first photos of this aircraft.

Well the weather was somewhat different a day earlier with these shots of 9M-XXY just appearing into the sun passing through a gap in the clouds at the right place.

Air Asia X - Returns to New Zealand

Air Asia X have once again commenced operations back into New Zealand with daily flights, using A330-300's from Kuala Lumpur via the Gold Coast, OOL, in Australia. Their first flight touched down in Auckland on the 23rd March. They have some great special liveries on their A330's and this one is one of the best, 9M-XXT seen here arriving on the 3rd April.

China Airlines B-18356

Last weekend in Auckland saw some rather spectacular dark rain clouds pass over the Auckland area and in the late afternoon with the sun coming through just at the right time to get these photos.

I haven't taken many photos of any China Airlines A330's for a while that operate in Auckland from Taipei via Sydney, so when the sun came out, I made a special trip just to get these shots of B-18359 arriving into Auckland landing on runway 05R.

China Airlines - A330-300

Just a few quick shots of China Airlines flight CI53 arriving into Auckland later afternoon and operated by B-18357. I believe that CI will start B747-400 operations again for the summer months from Taipei to Auckland via Brisbane.

China Airlines on a regular basis operate their A330-300, B-18358,  "Masalu Taiwan" livery into Auckland. This aircraft B-18358 is two years old this month.

Haven't been around much when this livery has been in Auckland, so I was pleased when it did.
