French Air Force VIP Jets

A busy last week at Auckland Airport, and yet again another VIP in town. Also on a whirlwind visit to Auckland was the French Prime Minister, who arrived into Auckland on Sunday 1st May.
The Prime Minister and his travelling party brought three of the French Air Force VIP transport aircraft into Auckland. An A330-200, A340-200 and a Falcon 7X.

French Marine Falcon - Guardian 77

This is only the second time I have seen a French Marine Dassault Falcon in Auckland. I have some photos of Marine 65 when it visited a while back. So I was happy to see these guys from the French Marine turn up in another Falcon, this time Number 77. It had the word "Guardian" painted on one side only and I even got a friendly wave from the crew as they taxing in.

This very white Falcon 7X, OO-LMG is seen here arriving into Auckland direct from Singapore back on the 10th Sep 2014, with opera superstar Andrea Bocelli onboard, ahead of his New Zealand Concert.

Falcon 7X - B-8205

Well I must say that this Falcon 7X, B-8205 has a very smart paint job and is one of the best painted Business Jets I've seen in a long time.

It's also great to see and increase in Corporate Visitors over the last few weeks, may it long continue.

In these shots the Falcon is being towed to a different parking spot to make room for another Corporate arrival, which I will show in another post at a later date.

First Auckland Visit - Falcon 2000LX, VH-WIO

This Falcon 2000LX, VH-WIO made is first ever visit to Auckland Airport on the 17th April, arriving at about 1315 from Sydney/Bankstown Airport.

On arrival into Auckland a Follow Me car was provided for taxi guidance to its assigned parking area.
