The Royal New Zealand Airforce has just received these brand new Beechcraft T6C Texan aircraft and were on display at the Wings over Wairarapa Airshow. These aircraft did only a very brief flying display, which was literary a takeoff, fly pass down the runway and then an approach and landing.
It will take some time before these great race machines can perform aerobatics at airshows, due to training requirements etc etc....
In the first photo is NZ1406 departing Masterton for its home base at Ohakea, and in the last 3 photos is NZ1407 on static display.
