ALOHA - Hawaiian Airlines

Back on the July 16th, 2012, Hawaiian Airlines announced that it will commence flights to Auckland beginning March 2013. Today the 14th March 2013 saw the first arrival of Hawaiian Airlines first commercial passenger flight to Auckland. Hawaiian Airlines will use their A330-200 on the Honolulu - Auckland - Honolulu run.

N381HA, touched down just before 7pm local time and was welcomed to Auckland with the traditional water canon salute.

HA will operate 3 flights per week, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays until the 16th Sep when a 4th service on Fridays are added, on a seasonal basis at this stage.

This will make Hawaiian the only US carrier to fly to New Zealand.
