Korean Airlines B777-200ER, HL7764
I took these photos back on the 10th May this year, of this Korean Airlines B777-200ER, HL7764 when the weather was still quite warm. And today there was quite a bit of humidity in the air as you can see by the vapour forming in the engine intake during this powerful takeoff of KE130 back to Seoul.

American Airlines B787-8, N814AA
Last week American Airlines was a little late into Auckland, arriving about 30 minutes after sunrise, so managed to get some good shots of N814AA arriving from Los Angeles, and again in the afternoon of the departure back to LAX.
Sure was glad to have nice sunny weather and clear skies again.

Fiji Airways A330-200's, DQ-FJT, DQ-FJU
I haven't featured many photos of Fiji Airway's A330's since they have started with the airline, not sure why, but last week I managed to get DQ-FJT, and DQ-FJU one day apart from one another.

United Airlines - Welcome Back to Auckland
Well after 13 years 3 months and 4 days, it sure is great to see my old employer back in Auckland.
United Airlines inaugural B787-8 flight touched down in Auckland at 0641 yesterday the 3rd Jul from San Francisco and arrived at gate 6 to a warm welcome on a cold winters morning.
United will operate on the San Francisco - Auckland - San Francisco route in conjunction with Air New Zealand in a joint revenue sharing / marketing alliance. They will operate the B787-8 Dreamliner 3 days a week until October when they will upgrade to the B787-9 and also go to daily flights.
Their first flight was operated N27908 and it was just perfect conditions for a sunny winters day takeoff back to SFO.

Air Chathams Convair - ZK-CIF
Air Chathams Convair ZK-CIF has been repainted into the full Air Chathams Colours now is looking rather smart. I actually think it looks great and will be keeping an eye out now for their Metroliner and newly acquired Saab.

Updated New Livery, Air NZ's - ZK-OAB
Air New Zealand's A320, ZK-OAB has had a repaint and subtitle change to its livery.
The Silver Fern on the back has been changed to the standard Fern and style as the rest of the fleet, and the words "Crazy About Rugby" have gone from the front. And as you can notice the engines are now white. I think it looks quite smart.

American Airlines - Welcome to New Zealand
Welcome back to New Zealand American Airlines.
American Airlines have commenced daily Los Angeles - Auckland - Los Angeles flights using the B787-8, with the first flight AA83 arriving into Auckland on the 25th Jun, early in the morning.
American Airline's have operated to New Zealand in the past, and the last time they operated to Auckland was back in 1989, using the DC-10.
Their return flight back to Los Angeles, AA82 departs Auckland at 1320 and arrives back into LA nice and early, making for some good connecting flight options for its passengers.
Well here are my first photos, and I wish the sun was out a bit more for these pics of N805AN taxing out. I will hope for better luck next time.
And....the new American livery is just great and is my number one favourite at the moment.
