Royal Canadian Air Force C130, 130341

Well it was a pleasant surprise late last week to see another rare visitor into Auckland.

This is the Royal Canadian's Air Force C130 Hercules 130341 arriving from Brisbane late in the afternoon and the sun had disappeared making these photos's darker and not as good as they could have been.

Honeywell B757-200, H757HW

Well it's great to see another rare visitor to Auckland, and especially one of my favourite airliner's, the B757-200.

This is Honeywell's B757-200, N757HW, which is their Wi-Fi Test aircraft, and its in New Zealand conducting some demo flights out of Auckland and operating down towards the eastern part and central North Island of New Zealand. I got these photos over the last two days of it's coming and going on its test flights. Not sure how long it's in Auckland for.

Sounds Air have had their Pilatus PC12, ZK-PLZ repainted into a new colour scheme. Looks very smart and got these photos as it arrived nonstop from Gold Coast in Australia.

Volcanic Air, Cessna 206, ZK-FEO

Was away last weekend down country in Rotorua and managed to get these photos by the Rotorua Lake front of Volcanic Air's Cessna 206G, ZK-FEO as it arrived back from an 8 minute scenic flight over the city with some tourists onboard enjoying the New Zealand scenery.

It sure was nice to have great weather for a change.

Nauru Airlines B737-300, VH-PNI

A few more photos from last week and my brief visit to Nadi, Fiji.
I was also happy to see this Nauru Airlines B737-300, VH-PNI parked on the ramp in Nadi.

VH-PNI first flew back in 1997 after rolling off the production line in 1996.

This aircraft sits on the ground in Nadi, four days a week and also does a cargo run to outer surrounding islands in the region.

Falcon 7X, TC-MMM

I was in Nadi, Fiji last week for a very very short visit and was pleasantly surprised to this Dassault Falcon 7X, TC-MMM parked at the terminal when I arrived.

I'm not sure where TC-MM is based out of, or its reason for being in Nadi, but was just pleased to see it.

Back In Business With Camera

Well at last I'm back in business with a new camera, after a not having one for a few weeks.
Still plenty to learn again with a new camera, so hopefully things will improve.

Tail Selection

Its been a while since my last post, sorry about that.

I have not had a camera for a few weeks, had a slight accident with the it and well, its little bit stuffed, had to get a new one. So here's a few pics taken with my good old and trust worthy 9 year old D80 before I broke it. My new camera will take a while to get used to, might even open the manual for it...
