FEDEX FREIGHTER - MD-11F

AT LAST....I've been trying to get some shots of the FedEx MD-11F that comes through Auckland on a Sunday evening.  Until now, I just haven't been around or have been in the wrong place at the wrong time to be able to get some photos.

So this is what I managed to get, and I was lucky to even gets these photos, due to the early arrival and the last rays of light for the day at this time of year. Quite a few shots as went a bit trigger happy on the shutter button.

Some more information on N572FE

This airframe started out service with Garuda Airlines in 1997 registered as PK-GIL and later in 1999 then entering service with Varig and changing its registration to PP-VQJ.
2007 saw another change to a  new operator, TAM as PT-MSH but was put into storage in 2008, not sure where though. In 2009 it was converted to freighter and started service with FedEx.

Brought any Samsung products lately !!

Samsung operated their Global Express HL8238 into Auckland last weekend. Was lucky enough to get the shots on Sunday 4th May 14 before it departed again on the 5th May.

Rare Gulfstream Visitor

This is the first time I've seen this Eclair Aviation Gulfstream G200, OK-GLF in Auckland, these photos were taken on the 3rd May 14.

Eclair Aviation is based in Prague.

Aircalin is New Caledonia's International Airline with operates to 10 destinations outside of
New Caledonia. They operate two jets, a A330-200 and seen here in AKL taxing out as
SB411 back to Noumea (NOU) is their A320-232, F-OJSB

Tecnam P2006T - ZK-TWN

On a very dark and gloomy day out at Ardmore saw some more first time photos.

This time of an Tecnam P2006T, ZK-TWN Italian built twin trainer. Comes complete as you can see with retractable undercarriage and winglets. The engines are rather small I thought though....
