RAAF KC30 In Town Again
The Royal Australian Airforce KC30 A39-002 was in Auckland again on Sunday the 16th March almost exactly a year ago since its last visit to Auckland on the 14th March 2013.

Qantas Freighter - VH-EFR
Operated by Express Freight Australia and recently undergone a new paint job with a slight livery change, now including the Qantas Kangaroo on its tail is this Qantas Freighter B767-300F, VH-EFR

USAF C130 and a RNZAF B757
Some Military Action this time....
Ok, this time I got some shots out at Whenuapai Airforce base in Auckland last weekend of a visiting USAF C130 24-2067 that was conducting parachute drops over the base.
And just out of luck, also making an arrival back from Australia to Whenuapai was the RNZAF's
B757, NZ7572 which landed just before the C130.
So here's the approach and landing shots of the day....
And just my luck again, a few days later here again is NZ7572 over my house....and no cloud..

Special Livery - Qantas B737-800
My first shots of this one off Special Livery worn by a Qantas B737-800, VH-XZJ.
VH-XZJ special livery named, Mendoowoorrji made its first trip to Auckland in February. I believe its first trip to New Zealand was Queenstown.

Ex Air New Zealand B747-400 - Still in Business !!!!
Whilst in Los Angeles again I was very lucky to come across Air New Zealand's retired
B747-400, ZK-SUJ, msn 27602.
So here she is now, after being converted to a B747-4F6 (BDSF) freighter, and registered as N469AC flying cargo for Southern Air.
Built in 1998 and first flew on the 3 Jun 98 with the registration N1788B, she was delivered to Air New Zealand in October 1998 and was in service until 2011.

Houston - Auckland, Non-Stop
Arriving into Auckland on the 4th Mar, Non-Stop from Houston, Texas as GTI5303 is this Atlas Air B747-400F freighter N496MC.
N496MC msn 29257 first flew on the 14th May 1999.
It left again in the early hours of the morning on the 5th Mar for Santiago SCL, Chile.
