United States Air Force MC130H Hercules - Part 2 - Ground
Last set of photos carrying on from yesterdays post and photos of these two United States Air Force
MC130H Hercules, 88-0191 and 88-1083.
After doing an approach and landing to a full stop, they both taxing back down each time for another takeoff from runway 21. Quite a few shots, went a bit trigger happy in the shutter button, but each photo a little different again. Sure was great to watch.

United States Air Force MC130H Hercules - Part 1 - Flying
It was well worth the trip....
That is, the drive I took out to the RNZAF Whenuapai Air Force Base and this post a continuation from the days outing and my B757 shots.
Also with perfect timing (and weather) these two visiting United States Air Force MC130H Lockheed Hercules 88-0191 & 88-1083 were up doing circuits, conducting 10 mile final approaches for runway 21 from the east, and taxing back and taking off again for a repeat circuit again.
The flying continued for the whole time I was there, about 2 hours and were still going after I left.
Quite a few photos, but the each one a little different and the changing winter sun moving across the sky. Check back tomorrow for Part 2, and some runway photos.

RNZAF B757- NZ7571
A magic clear and crisp winters day yesterday in Auckland with plenty of sunshine at last.
So a the drive out to Whenuapai Air force base in west Auckland was not wasted and I was rewarded with this RNZAF B757-200, NZ7571 taxi out and depart for Darwin, Australia.
To date these are some of my better shots of the NZ7571.

Some nice sunset light in Auckland on a cold winters evening as Virgin Australia's B737-8FE,
VH-YIT takes off from 05R.
VH-YIT rolled off the production line in Seattle in September 2012 and was delivered to Virgin Australia in October.
