The L-29 Delfin test aircraft was first flown on 5 April 1959. It was produced
from 1963-1974. It is still a popular civillian warbird. Not sure how many worldwide still airworthy.

CI operate 3 days a week via BNE to TPE on, Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

The Northrop F-5 Tiger || was used in the "Top Gun" movie as MiG's fighters, not these one's pictured though I am sure.

Emirates Departures, A380's

Managed to get these 5 photos of the two Emirates A380's departures with great afternoon sunset light conditions. These photos were all taken with 10 minutes of each other and in each photo the light and background light is all different.

The first 3 shots are of, EK407, AKL-MEL-DXB operated by A6-EDO

and the last 2, EK413, AKL-SYD-DXB operated by A6-EDB

Starting 02 Oct 2013, EK435, AKL-BNE-DXB will also be upgraded to the A380, making
EK's Auckland flights all A380's.

T-45 Goshawk

I actually don't know much the T-45 Goshawk except that is was used by the U.S Navy and Aircraft Carrier operations. Photo taken at the Miramar Air Show 2012.

Hawaiian Sunlight Departure....

On Friday morning the 7th June saw the first, and rare daylight departure of
Hawaiian Airlines flight HA446 bound for Honolulu, operated by N382HA.

The scheduled departure from the previous night was delayed due to logistical reasons.

For the inaugural HA flight into Auckland back on the 14th March this year, which also arrived in the daylight, see my other post here,

Qantas B747-438, VH-OJF

Seen here on push back in Sydney is Qantas's B747-438 (c/n 24483) "City of Perth"
 VH-OJF heading off on another International Trip.

Powered by the Rolls Royce RB211-524G2 engines, VH-OJF first flew
on the 20th March 1990 and was accepted by Qantas on the 6th April 1990.
Its last revenue flight was on the 3rd June 2012 as QF108, New York - Los Angeles.
The next day, 4th June 2012 it was ferried to Victorville as QF6021 for storage and awaiting sale from the Qantas fleet.

Garden City Helicopters operate a fleet of 4 fixed wing aircraft. They operate 2 Cessna aircraft, which are solely used for aeromedical use and the New Zealand Flying Doctor Service, and 2 Beechcraft King Air's for corporate charters etc.
