Auckland B787 Visit

Back in 2011 Boeing sent their B787-800 to New Zealand and Australia on a promotional tour for Air New Zealand and Qantas. Here are some more shots that I got whilst Boeing ZA001 was in AKL.

Los Angeles Arrival Window View

Never arrived in Los Angeles by air before, well this is the view you will get when arriving into LAX from AKL. I took these shots onboard NZ6, NZ-NBT, as you can see I was sitting on the right side of the aircraft. The smog wasn't to bad for this time of year in LA so the the view was quite good.

Air New Zealand's B777-300ER Black Magic

Air New Zealand's B777-300ER, ZK-OKQ arrived, and departed in style at Ohakea. Arriving into Ohakea with the Call Sign "All Black 1" touching down at approximately 9.50am. During the course of the airshow, ZK-OKQ was on static display for public to have look onboard. The queues were pretty long all day.
