Qantas Flight
QF8 from
DFW to
SYD, yesterday diverted to Auckland for fuel, due to fog conditions in Sydney. QF8 was almost overhead Nadi, Fiji when the call was made by the looks of it to divert to Auckland for fuel.
VH-OQI landed in AKL just after 7:30am on runway 05R.
After a refuel and the usual paper work, OQI continued onto SYD.
It was quite overcast and the sun was not long up, so the lighting was not the best for these photos,
but it was great to see a QF A380 in town.
