Flight Hauraki - ZK-MDZ

These are my first photos of Flight Hauraki's Cessna 207 ZK-MDZ on a short final at AKL.

Flight Hauraki is based out of the North Shore Airfield, just north of Auckland and Waiheke Island Aerodrome in the Hauraki Gulf. Flight Hauraki as listed on their website is the only fixed wing flight seeing specialists operating in Auckland.

A few quick arty shots in the last rays of light on the 12th Feb 14 of two business jets parked next to each other whilst overnighting in Auckland. The light was great for these photos.

Korean Airlines AKL B747-400 Summer Flights End

Korean Airlines operate the B747-400 to Auckland over the peak New Zealand summer season, and during the winter months reverting back to B777-200ER operations.

These are the only shots I managed to get of a Korean B744 this summer and got these shots only a week before their last 747 flight for the summer.

Final Shots - Miramar 2012

This will be the last set of photos I post from the Miramar Air Show back in 2012.

These photos are from the Not so good Files, and please excuse the people in the way in some photos, but thought it might give you an idea of what it's like at a major military air show in the States.
You could pretty much touch or get into any aircraft on display. The only aircraft with restricted access was the Raptor.

Hope to make it back for Miramar again, and I highly recommend this Air Show event.

Super Puma - ZK-HHL

New Zealand's only resident Super Puma AS332 Helicopter just happened to taxi out and takeoff on a recent visit to Ardmore. ZK-HHL was shipped to New Zealand from Japan in 2013 and is registered to Heli Harvest Ltd.

So just in case you need some heavy lifting done, see the Heli Harvest Website HERE

Lifting capability is about 4500kg I believe.
