AT LAST....I've been trying to get some shots of the
FedEx MD-11F that comes through Auckland on a Sunday evening. Until now, I just haven't been around or have been in the wrong place at the wrong time to be able to get some photos.
So this is what I managed to get, and I was lucky to even gets these photos, due to the early arrival and the last rays of light for the day at this time of year. Quite a few shots as went a bit trigger happy on the shutter button.

Some more information on N572FE
This airframe started out service with Garuda Airlines in 1997 registered as PK-GIL and later in 1999 then entering service with Varig and changing its registration to PP-VQJ.
2007 saw another change to a new operator, TAM as PT-MSH but was put into storage in 2008, not sure where though. In 2009 it was converted to freighter and started service with FedEx.
